Acuity has expanded our managed care program by adding a telehealth option to our nurse helpline!

The Acuity Nurse Helpline, free to all workers’ compensation accounts, provides instant medical advice over the phone for nonemergency injuries like sprains, strains, cuts, and other minor incidents that occur at work. The helpline is staffed 24/7 by licensed nurses specializing in occupational injuries and provides qualified medical advice.

If an injury requires medical treatment, workers can be referred to a care facility or be transferred to a licensed telehealth physician. The telehealth option provides workers immediate access to quality care without waiting for an appointment or travel. A telehealth appointment can be done on the phone or using video.

In addition to advocating for injured workers, our nurse helpline can lessen the frequency and cost of claims, which lowers experience mods and premium costs.
