Acuity announced that Marcus Knuth will be retiring in April as Vice President – Enterprise Technology, capping a career at Acuity that spanned 33 years. Keith Baierl has been named Knuth’s successor, continuing the insurer’s technology and innovation leadership.

Acuity is recognized as one of the top three insurers in the country for claims service in the 2025 CRASH Network Insurer Report Card. The company earned a place on the National Honor Roll, receiving an impressive A- grade for its commitment to quality claims handling.

Acuity announced that in 2024 the company surpassed $3 billion in annual revenue for the first time in its 99-year history. The insurer’s growth rate of nearly 20% generated more than a half billion-dollar increase in topline revenue, an all-time record.

Acuity Insurance announced that several of its communication projects have earned awards for creativity in national and international competition in 2024.

At a December 2024 Town Hall meeting, Acuity employees determined the distribution of $500,000 among six different charitable organizations. Those organizations included Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation; Fresh Meals on Wheels; Mental Health America (MHA); Safe Harbor; The Salvation Army; and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
