Important Update to Customer Credit Card Payments

Starting Thursday, January 23, Acuity will no longer accept exposed (fully visible) credit card account data on our Automatic Payment Option (APO) forms during the down payment process or when gathering recurring payment plan authorization. Credit card data must be entered directly into our payment systems.

 

Additionally, blank (unprotected) versions of the APO forms will no longer be available on Acuity’s website and should not be used to manually enter data for submission.

 

We deeply care for our customers, and these steps are being taken to ensure we are securely protecting their payment data.

 

Acuity makes it easy to submit payment data and collect authorization:

 

  • During the binding process, you can submit payment data directly through Acuity’s online rating platform or Agent Center binding flow (Commercial Lines).

 

  • When a signed Automatic Payment Option form is required for recurring pay plan authorization, you can obtain a protected system-generated version from Acuity’s online rating platform or Agent Center binding flow (Commercial Lines).

 

  • After binding, customers can manage payments through their online account or by contacting Billing directly.
