CSR of the Month: Rose Donnelly

When Rose Donnelly came to Rodgers Insurance Group nearly ten years ago, she brought with her decades of experience in insurance, including working as and supervising account managers.

 

“Rose has brought her untiring work ethic, knowledge, and team support that has helped us grow our agency and continue to expand our excellence in serving customers. Whether working with a producer to solve a problem or supporting the staff, expanding training for staff, or dealing with company personnel, we can count on Rose to be a great resource for the agency,” says agency Vice President Pete Kostorick

 

Rose is Commercial Support Manager and Commercial Marketing Specialist for the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based agency, where she manages a team of Commercial Account Managers and a Technical Assistant. In addition, she markets new and renewal accounts for select Producers. Rose says that listening is the foundation of great service.

 

“Clients will tell you what they expect and need if you can just listen,” she says. “Documentation is also important. You need to maintain a record of events so that anyone can jump in and take over if needed.”

 

Rose enjoys her work at the agency and particularly appreciates the support her colleagues provide each other. “Our agency prides itself on our teamwork and in having a widely diverse staff of young and seasoned employees.  It’s a great place for insurance professionals that are new to insurance to learn from experienced mentors.  In working with the younger employees, it strengthens our skills as well and helps us to appreciate our careers,” she says.

 

“We know that we are never alone when facing an issue and that someone will always help if needed,” Rose adds. “We are like family here at Rodgers Insurance Group and that starts at the top with our owners, Sue and Jim Wehar.  I’m so happy to work with this group!”
