Riding a motorcycle is an exhilarating experience, but it also comes with its risks. That’s why motorcycle safety should always be a top priority for riders and passengers.

Wearing the appropriate safety gear, especially helmets, significantly reduces the risk of severe injuries or fatalities in an accident. To reinforce the importance of responsible riding habits, Acuity offers incentives to encourage the use of helmets and other protective gear.

In most states, we double the medical payments limit, up to an additional $5,000, if the driver or passenger is wearing a helmet at the time of the injury.

In addition, we provide unlimited coverage for rider safety apparel worn by the driver and any passenger if the motorcycle is insured with collision coverage. No deductible applies for damage to gear worn to minimize injury, including damage to:
