Acuity celebrates each family’s own unique story. Building a family is a journey. And managing care for loved ones at all life stages has been especially challenging these past two years. Recognizing this, Acuity is implementing a handful of new family-forming and family-care benefits.
The first of these is a new fertility benefit program. Employees and their spouses on the Acuity health plan will now have access to fertility medical benefits designed to support those undergoing reproductive consultation and treatments like IUI and IVF.
The second new benefit is a reimbursement program for adoption and surrogacy costs to offset the costs associated with welcoming a child through adoption or surrogacy.
Additionally, all Acuity employees will receive Premium Memberships for Care.com which can be used to find a wide variety of caregiving needs, from full-time nannies and elder care providers to the occasional babysitters, pet-sitters, tutors, and housekeepers.
These new benefits join Acuity’s existing benefits which include paid leave for childbearing and non-childbearing parents, flex-time schedule, and unlimited sick leave.
