Additionally, Acuity earned a Silver Stevie Award for Achievement in Workplace Design for companies of more than 100 employees. The award recognized the impact of Acuity’s recent headquarters expansion project.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, September 22. More than 500 nominations from organizations around the world were submitted this year for consideration. More than 50 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

The dedication these Stevie-winning organizations have to providing great workplaces for employees was evident,” said Michael Gallagher, President and founder of the Stevie Awards.
In choosing Acuity as Employer of the Year - Insurance, judges noted Acuity’s “amazing set of employee engagement initiatives and benefits” and a fun work environment that encourages open communication. In recognizing Acuity for Achievement in Workplace Design, judges highlighted the company’s “fun and informal spaces for employees to connect” as well as overall project design that was authentic to company culture and values.
